Two months after releasing ‘Swinging Flavors #13‘ from Naco, Milan-based imprint Beat Machine gears up to issue ‘Nebula Dub Explorations‘ LP from Treviso-based producer Antonio Marini, better known as Healing Force Project.
Following standout releases on Firecracker’s sublabel Tending The Void, Impatience, Lifeforms and London-based record label Berceuse Heroique, ‘Nebula Dub Explorations‘ delivers a captivating 9-track sonic saga, launching listeners into a human-sized spacecraft hovering amidst the Centaurus constellation. The album traverses superlunary soundscapes, fusing dub-saturated atmospheres, post-human dubstep, UFO-like breaks and cyber-infused braindance, mapping out uncharted realms deep within cortex illusions.
Our standout track from the album is “Open The Doors Of Time And Space”. The producer embarks on a cosmic pilgrimage, navigating the shadowy corridors of intergalactic lineage and unraveling a space-time collapse that pushes dubstep’s experimental boundaries. The track kicks off with disorienting soundscapes, evoking the pull of unseen gravitational forces, before swiftly transitioning into fractured drum patterns and elongated basslines. In the second half, the track erupts into feverish bursts of breakbeats, building a tension-soaked crescendo that grips the listener in its orbit.
