Vilnius-based record label Electric Shapes line up ‘All Is One Remixes‘ from label co-founder and producer Dovydas Platakis, better known as Jokios Kultūros.
Platakis, whose hometown is near the enclave sandwiched between Poland and Lithuania known as Kaliningrad, continues to establish himself as a compelling Lithuanian producer. For the occasion, ‘All Is One Remixes‘ brings together a roster of world-class producers, combining mutant breaks, eerie downtempo, acid-laced chuggers and mind-bending trance. Contributors include Anatolian Weapons, Kalocain, HOS, Tassilo Vanhöfen, Pletnev, Drawbridge, Matas Petrikas and thelastsunday.
Today, we are pleased to premiere Tassilo Vanhöfen’s version of ‘Split‘ thanks to its ultra-occult soundtrack blending acid-infused mysticism and synth-driven downtempo. As the track opens with sub-filtered arpeggios and cryptic invocations, followed by a synth-heavy chorus and spiraling hi-hats, it brings the listeners into a state of inexorable delirium for nearly 6-minutes.
