With support from Mary Anne Hobbs and mentorship from Nils Frahm, Liam Mour is quickly establishing himself as an exciting new voice in electronic music. His aptitude for crafting emotive pieces is quite apparent on ‘Dreaming Of A Better Place’, his new EP for Ode To Youth.
Based out of Funkhaus Studios in Berlin, thought to be one of the largest multi-studio facilities in the world, Liam has been hard at work developing the compelling production style that we’re presented with on this EP, one that incorporates elements of ambient, jazz, modern classical as well as forms of dance music. We’re excited to premiere the opener of his new release, the expansive ‘When I Look Into Your Eyes’. This swelling composition is packed with affective melodies and subtle developments and is a fine example of Liam’s capacity to weave nuanced yet powerful work.
