Premiere: Lucky Charmz – Oase

After a detour via Moody Records last year, Lehult‘s main operator Lucky Charmz steps up on his label again with ‘Failing Upwards‘, a fine new instalment packed with the kind of laid-back heat that’ll help break ice on the dancefloor and beyond. Blurring the line between oneiric deep house, old-school breaks and sun-bleached dubs, the record seamlessly traverses an array of vibes and colours, sweeping all corners of the mood spectrum to better apply its balmy flavours and aromas.

Streaming through our channels today, ‘Oase‘ bursts a bubble of poolside reverie and breezy coastal ambientism that proves no short of captivating. Unfolding textured spools of deeper than deep synth envelopes, the track pulses to a pacey electroid swing, deftly slaloming across dubby meanders, ski field recordings and ’90s tech-indebted bleepy motifs in a dreamlike ride. Let your mind wander and float above the city’s sleepy canopy, its teeming life’s gone to bed for a minute.

Failing Upwards is released via Lehult on 26th October, pre-order a copy from Juno.
