Premiere: Maxa – Carry The Weight Of Ur Guilt

For the second instalment of their compilation series, Paris-based record label Sueur enlist six producers to celebrate the spirit of unrestrained movement and mindful resistance.

Sueur – Volume 2’ gathers a crew of after-hours renegades navigating a slick constellation of mutant euro-house, bare-knuckle techno, ultrasonic hardcore and trance-heavy oddities. Contributors include Montevideo-based producer Agustin G, Kandiaronk, SR, Maxa, Griffé’s affiliate Liso and So_N.

Our pick is ‘Carry The Weight Of Ur Guilt‘ from Maxa – a brooding slice of dark techno that feels like it’s been forged in the depths of an industrial wasteland. Perfect for underground shufflers, it blends dub-heavy oscillations with relentless, pounding kick-drums, spiralling listeners into a hypnotic vortex of dystopian intensity. This is heavy techno for the soul-searchers, those looking to dance off the weight of unspoken remorse.

‘Sueur – Volume 2’ is scheduled for release on 4th October via Sueur. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
