Premiere: Metro Riders – Shocking Dark

Following releases from x.y.r and Wave Temples, Swedish experimental imprint Possible Motive line up an LP featuring eight insightful soundscapes – courtesy of Henrik Stelzer, also known as Metro Riders.

After appearances under the production alias Fluorescent Heights on Oakland-based label Constellation Tatsu and vaporwave imprint Beer On The Rug  – ‘Lost In Reality‘ takes listeners on a mind-bending experience through blackout drone and sci-fi OST, meticulously arranged on a lo-fi Fostex tape recorder.

Our pick from the album is ‘Shocking Dark’ thanks to its underwater brain massage entangled with crystalline synthesizers and tribal drum rites. Huge tip for a proper ear bath inside your oversized mansion right in the middle of Jon Hassell’s Fourth World.

‘Lost In Reality’ is scheduled for release on 29th September via Possible Motive. Order a vinyl copy from Inverted Audio Store and digital from Bandcamp.
