After a 7-year hiatus, Mauritian techno producer Kevin O’keeffe – better known as Mutecell – self releases his first digital full length ‘ONAC1D‘ through Mutewax.
With releases on Monolith Rec and Berlin-based Natch Records, Mutecell packs 13 dynamic techno cuts exploring his first club steps in Mauritius and adulting in the nightlife mecca. ‘ONAC1D‘ is a brutal arsenal of weaponry featuring an array of highly corrosive 4/4 stompers and black-o-acid magic.
Lifted from this industrial techno anaesthesia, ‘Gris Gris’ is our pick due to its equally pounding and dramatic sonic textures. Forging a barely visible cloud of smoke in the dark lodge, Berlin-based producer Mutecell spoils us with a potent drop of Vitamin T.
