Premiere: Mystigrix and Reo Seis ft. Paris Brightledge – Mile High (Keita Sano Remix)

With three classy grooves, a vocal feature from the legendary Paris Brightledge and a remix from Dubbyman on the B1, the ‘Mile High’ EP by Mystigrix and Reo Seis landed in late 2019, a solid club record from the Bremen-based producers.

Now, Thirty Year Records have brought on Interstate and Keita Sano for remix duties as well as releasing Dubbyman’s down tempo mix of the title track. Additionally, ‘You Don’t Know’ by Mystigrix and Reo Seis sees the light of day for the first time, rounding off this solid remix package.

Of the tracks here, our pick is Keita Sano’s remix. Equally adept at crafting disco-fuelled house grooves as stripped-back drum machine workouts, the versatile Japanese producer takes the dubby route here. The remix retains hints of the original’s housey feel, though, as Brightledge’s vocals reverberate throughout this spacious version, the mood is quite different.

‘Mile High Remixes’ EP is scheduled for release 16 April via Thirty Year Records. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
