Brussels-based imprint ESITU prepare to release ‘Candid shots RAPPEL‘, a sonic insight into their previous release – courtesy of Belgian renegades Nice Guise.
Following numerous appearances on ESITU compilations – ‘Candid shots RAPPEL‘ delivers a set of freaky concert recordings and unexploited studio extracts. Throughout the 10-track effort, Nice Guise urge listeners to abolish broken hierarchies and join the post-punk movement.
Our pick is ‘Outstanding‘ – thanks to its offbeat extravaganza encompassing first-class basslines and dystopian poetry from corrupted corporations nestled high in the sky. This is a reminder to build a drop-dead treehouse on flat ground and leave the desk empty for alienated spirits.
