Premiere: Ordos Mk.0 – Icy Beach Breeze

Eight years after his inaugural release, UK-based sound maverick Ordos Mark Zero – better known as Ordos Mk.0 – returns with the four-tracks ‘Echoes‘ EP.

Following the ambient trilogy ‘Sysiphean Audio Therapy‘ and an array of soothing experiments, ‘Echoes’ tells the story of a forgotten celestial diary. Diving deep into dub techno aesthetics intermingled with IDM-like harmonies and digital dancehall skanks, Ordos Mk.0 delivers a nestling cure for the coldest of hearts.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Icy Beach Breeze‘ – thanks to its reindeer’s bell introduction followed by serene soundscapes, dewy-eyed glockenspiel spirits and tender drumming pads. As we walk along the fleecy beach, the producer makes us feel fun-size in front of the North Sea’s vigorous waves.

‘Echoes’ is scheduled for release on 28th November. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
