Premiere: Owelle – Passion Paradox

Two years after their inaugural release, Amsterdam-based platform Dee Dee’s Picks specialized in releasing Helvetic’s gems return with the seven-track ‘It’s Okay‘ EP – courtesy of Geneva-based producer and graphic designer Valérie Siron, better known as Owelle.

In the wake of appearances on Biel-based imprint Creaked and speedball imprint Infamous LLC – ‘It’s Okay‘ EP explores swirls of twilight breakbeats, howling torrents of braindance, cryptic techno and alpine experimental.

Our pick is ‘Passion Paradox‘ – a tumultuous broadcast emanating from a defective satellite vestige that leaves you completely adrift. Awakening us to the chaos of the future with ultra-altered rhythms – on the fringe of drum and bass, splenetic basslines, and psyched-out frequencies, Owelle transcends the intersidereal with blinding clairvoyance.

‘It’s Okay’ is scheduled for release on 23th November via Dee Dee’s Picks. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
