Premiere: Plebeian – Atrium

Fresh off a release on NYC’s Sweat Equity from which we premiered the thumping ‘Smoke Rings‘ a few weeks ago, Andrew Nerviano alias Plebeian strikes back on Cassava Piece with his multifaceted debut tape album, ‘Atrium‘, scheduled for release on September 8.

Showing the same knack for finely-sculpted ambient landscaping and throbbing post-industrial rhythms, steely and taut to the fullest, Nerviano serves up a shape-shifting mashup of alien sounds and urban atmospherics tailored for both on and off dancefloor action.

Streaming in full over our channels today, the broken-tech weapon ‘Atrium‘ weaves all the ingredients of a trademark Plebeian melter: a pacey bass surf, mangled vox bits wailing in the distance, stinging chords and train-like drum mechanics drilling a thick haze of vaporous reverbs to propel the track nonstop to the terminus with equal levels of power and brilliance.

Atrium is released via Cassava Piece on 8th September, pre-order a copy from Bandcamp.
