Analog warmth, polished acid lines, breathy pads and rolling drum sequences – Tel-Aviv via Berlin producers PRZ and Dasco (Gal Perez and Hadas Cohen) are slowly but surely marking themselves as the friendly newcomers that you should be keeping a firm eye on. With just a couple of releases under their belts plus a hefty amount of experience in the studio, their music is finally beginning to surface.
The two producers, who originally met at a party in Tel-Aviv joined forces two years later for a four day studio session to bring this collaborative extended player to light (the title might be also imply the duo’s understanding of old school aesthetics). Our pick ‘Line Machine‘ features seven minutes of acid-drenched house; with buzzy analog chords and funky synth-work, gliding and switching positions over a driving, punchy drum section.
‘Memories’ EP lands on Frankfurt’s Rawax offshoot label Housewax on 4th October 2017 and includes a remix by Chicago house veteran Boo Williams. Order a vinyl copy from Juno.
