Premiere: REIN x Djedjotronic – Transmutation (Pablo Bozzi Remix)

Following the release of REIN’s ‘Reincarnated Dub Mixes (Vol.1)’, Boysnoize Records have enlisted the Swedish artist for her first EP of original material for the label. The release sees REIN collaborating with label regular Djedjotronic on two searing tracks with remixes by Unklevon and Pablo Bozzi.

Putting together the release, the pair pursued a cold and mechanical sound. One source of inspiration was the 1927 science fiction classic Metropolis. REIN wrote the lyrics for the title track during the metamorphosis of the robot Maria.

Our pick from the release is Pablo Bozzi’s remix of ‘Transmutation’. The HÖR resident introduces a more steady pulse and kicks things up a gear with his seriously tough Italo and EBM-fuelled sound.

‘Transmutation’ is scheduled for release 11 March via Boysnoize Records. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
