The latest episode of Newtype Rhythms features a radiant guest mix from Dutch producer Feiertag – an upstanding example of emotive elegance masterfully embedded within the path of the dancefloor.
Following the release of his debut album on the legendary Sonar Kollektiv imprint in 2021, Feiertag follows up with a more sonorous and somber affair named ‘Dive‘, an album that touches upon the genres of house, jazz, UK garage and beyond.
With tracks like ‘Living In Snow’ and ‘Cala‘ out and about for listeners to grasp onto, it’s easy to understand why Feiertag’s unique sonic approach is so easy to gravitate towards. Considering his roots as a drummer, with a penchant for rhythmic whimsy is a delight to witness; and it’s here in droves for the latest episode of Newtype Rhythms, packed in throughout a 90-minute journey.
