Following their inaugural compilation last April, Murder mark their return with another full-tilt club compilation featuring works from Alessandro Adriani, Years of Denial, Vulkanski and Puritan.
With Tbilisi firmly on the map for dark and hedonistic techno, Murder are playing to a captive audience in their hometown, and whilst the fledgling label may have just kicked off, they are sparing no effort in setting firm their foundations.
Vulkanski’s music carries in its heart the heavy style of Tbilisi, and his offering for the release, ‘Key Protest‘, shows no wavering in that whatsoever: proper club room aesthetic, dark and straight to the head, is the name of the game here. With great care, however, Vulkanski scrapes out a particular groove, formed of a composite of several different approaches, which seems to sweep from side to side as the attention switches between elements. A perfect track for shaking loose the demons of 2020.
