Today we celebrate the release of Hong Kong-based maverick Yunus inaugural ‘Vortex‘ EP on the worldwide imprint Transarctica, helmed by Yunus and Reba.
Yunus presents a sophomore installment on Transarctica with two tracks navigating through quavering dubstep, roadman grime rhymes and dreadful breaks heavily influenced by the British obscure aesthetics.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Mind Tube Vortex’ – a tenebrous maelstrom of UK bass, lysergic breaks and deconstructed techno. From cavernous rhythms to drone-like soundscapes and fast-paced kickdrums, this is a true sound craft labyrinth – carefully designed for your cortex.
