Inverted Audio Record Store has been invited by Rinse FM to take part in Counter Culture, the station’s ongoing radio series spotlighting specialist record stores.
The show will be broadcast live and direct from Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham for a three-part run, beginning on Saturday 31st January from 1-3PM.
Hosted by Inverted Audio founder Tom Durston, also known as DJ Antepop, each episode will feature a curated selection of the hottest records currently in the store. Alongside the music, Tom will explore the stories behind key releases, labels and artists, offering listeners unique insight and a deeper look into the culture and history that continues to shape underground electronic music.
Counter Culture brings radio directly into the heart of London’s record stores, capturing the atmosphere of spaces where music is discovered, shared and celebrated. Loyal customers are encouraged to join the live broadcasts in-store, browse new arrivals, pick up records, and be part of the experience as it goes out live on Rinse FM.
Following the first broadcast on Saturday 31st January, two further live shows will take place on Saturday 14th March (1 PM – 3 PM) and Saturday 9th May (1PM – 3PM).
The collaboration reflects Inverted Audio’s ongoing commitment to supporting independent labels, artists and vinyl culture, while connecting Peckham with the wider London music scene.
