Scheduled for release 1 May – ‘In Order To Care‘ features new and exclusive music from an array of label regulars, affiliates and newcomers including; Special Request, Call Super, Peach, Shanti Celeste, Barker, Forest Drive West, Yak, K-LONE, Loraine James, T. Wiltshire, More Time Records.
Compiled and curated by Raj Chaudhuri, who also features, the 41-track digital compilation (+ LTD edition T-Shirt) from R&S Records is scheduled to tie in with Bandcamp’s campaign of waiving their revenue share. Every penny raised from sales will go to a collective in Liverpool who are raising funds to help supply PPE direct to the NHS frontline staff. Everyone involved have kindly offered their services and music for free.
R&S have stated – “We do not see the NHS as a charity and it saddens our heart that we even have to do something like this. The UK government has failed the NHS and is outright lying about its inadequate supply chains. We have been speaking directly with frontline workers and they are in desperate need of this equipment, and if we can help get these supplies directly into the hands of workers – we feel it is our duty to unite the music community to help out.”
