Following the recent release of ‘Untitled (To Describe You) [OST]‘ on Sferic, Manchester-based production duo Josh Reidy and Joshua Inyang line up their third album as Space Afrika this August via Californian imprint Dais Records.
Spanning nineteen short-span tracks, ‘Honest Labour‘ is a celebration of UK culture and diversity, venturing through heady ambient atmospheres, warped loops, haunting field recordings and lyrics, potent post-rave reflections and glimmers of Arthur Russell even.
The album is said to be “the sum of our parts but also reflecting the state and influx of the nation: interstitial anthems, expressionistic and open-ended, delirious but deliberate, attuned to the drift, darknesses, and dream-state of the present moment.”
