Rome’s Spring Attitude Festival returns on 12–13 September 2025, taking over the jaw-dropping La Nuvola in the EUR district (Esposizione Universale Roma).
For the first time, this architectural masterpiece by Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas will transform into a giant, immersive playground for sound and light – a bold move that sets the tone for what’s shaping up to be Spring Attitude’s most ambitious year yet.
Marking their 14th edition, their lineup is stacked with standout performances from Bicep (live), Apparat (DJ), Ellen Allien, DJ Gigola and DJ Tennis alongside artists including L’impératrice, Coca Puma, Dov’è Liana, Jaden Thompson, Planet Opal as well as a Rough Radio showcase featuring De:ma, Lorenzo Bitw, Portamento, Strada and Velia.
Bicep present CHROMA A/V for their only Italian date this year – and it’s the kind of immersive, mind-bending experience you don’t want to miss. Also, German producer Apparat makes a welcome return to Spring Attitude with a rare DJ set – expect warm, poetic electronics with big emotional sweeps.
Spring Attitude has always been about crossing scenes, and Berlin’s club culture is front and centre this year. DJ Gigola takes over Friday with a genre flipping set that could go anywhere: techno, breaks, trancey left-turns. Her anything-goes approach has earned her a reputation as a DJ who keeps you guessing, and La Nuvola’s cavernous space should suit her perfectly.
Saturday, meanwhile, goes deep into Berlin techno heritage with BPitch Control founder Ellen Allien. A true institution of the scene, she’s been shaping the city’s sound for decades and still hits harder than most. Expect pounding, stripped-back techno designed for pure dancefloor release.
Also on Saturday, DJ Tennis steps in with his unique blend of house, techno, and emotional melodies. If Ellen Allien brings the rave, DJ Tennis brings the afterglow – his sets are known for their narrative flow, weaving tension and warmth.
