Spy Edits unveil first release Spy Edits 01

Psst, we got some sensitive information for you. On 24th March will land the debut EP of a new undercover, edit-devoted imprint going under the name of Spy Edits. We can’t reveal much else, except that the guys behind this have already been hosing the game with full batches of goodness over the last couple of years and they’re no greenhorns to the edit game. Ahem… c’mon, give your brain a work out.

Snippets are up on the label’s soundcloud page and have already caught the attention of listeners avid for pop gems reshuffled into 4/4-compatible frameworks. On ‘Spy Edits 01‘, the menu is sure to ring familiar to most of you, delicate ears. Side A is a minimal, finespun revamp of Peggy Lee’s jazz hit ‘Fever‘, whilst the flip shelters a stunning bouncy rework of Paul Simon’s ‘Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes‘ but we’ve already said too much. Over and out.

Spy Edits 01 is released on 24th March 2017, pre-order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
