The label night at OHM preceds the forthcoming release of DJ Deep and Roman Poncet’s debut extended player as Slang. Over the past two years, their studio work has resulted in an eclectic myriad of productions. May it be on Rekids, on Tresor Records as Adventice, or on Desire as Sergie Rezza the duo now step up as Slang.
Their debut release ‘S/T’ EP delivers four tracks brimming with afro percussions, dubbed out processing, field recordings and house chords that come together under the form of these poems, contemplative at times and measured at others. Our pick ‘Streets At Night Part 1‘ interlaces meditative percussion with a jarring melody, fans of Shackleton take note!
S/T EP is scheduled for release 30th November 2017.
