INDEX:Records sub-label Appendix.Files announces the forthcoming release of two new editions to the limited edition lathe cut imprint, courtesy of Xenia Reaper and Cypher – a new supergroup from Arad Acid, Exael, Mu Tate & Special Guest DJ.
First up is a mini-LP from Berlin-based producer Xenia Reaper named ‘APPX:09 Plain‘ – presenting six aural sensations, delicately forging ambient textures with bass-driven imaginations.
Next up is ‘APPX:10 Glasgow‘ by Cypher, a sonic reflection of the 3XL Lucky Lotto Tour, which took place earlier this year in the UK. As the title suggests ‘Glasgow‘ is the result of the improvised live jam-sesh that took place at The Old Hairdressers in March, now re-sliced into four cuts of ‘down-the-rabbit-hole’ brilliance that marks the 10th release on Appendix.Files.
Both of the releases are lathe cut 12″ vinyl records, made to order by Disc_Archive for the preservation of the art in a physical form. Profits of the physical and digital sales will go towards our APPX:Fund that offers direct financial support to artists and our creative projections happening in our wider community.
‘APPX:09 Plain’ and ‘APPX:10 Glasgow’ are scheduled for release 7 October via Appendix.Files. Order from Bandcamp.
