Chris Honnery

Chris is a journalist and DJ from Sydney, Australia. As a DJ, Chris has played before the likes of Agoria, Apparat, Luomo and Acid Pauli, while his DJ outfit Diatribe were the only locals to perform alongside Moodymann, Theo Parrish and Carl Craig at Sydney’s D-25 Detroit anniversary party. Chris’ weekly column, Deep Impressions, which is dedicated to electronic music of all varieties, has been published in Sydney magazine The Brag since 2007. Deep Impressions doubles as Chris’ occasional events brand, and has hosted luminaries such as Efdemin, Vladislav Delay and DFA's Shit Robot in their first appearances in Sydney. Outside of his work in electronic music, Chris has published feature interviews with American author Bret Easton Ellis and written for freedom of information human rights organisation Article 19.
