Bulkhead deliver a brusque live set for Newtype Rhythms

The latest edition of Newtype Rhythms comes in the form of pulverising live set from a Toronto duo Bulkhead. A project composed of Pop Distrikt and Patrik Benjamin both indelible solo artists in their own right, but coming together brought them an opportunity to release ‘Aft Pressure’ LP on Mike Simonetti’s imprint 2MR.

Between their precise narrative, methodical pacing and irreverent ambience lies a powerful presence that’s immediate upon first listen. That’s why when they were asked to contribute to Newtype Rhythms, they delivered a forthright example of such – a no nonsense live set.
