After months of anticipation Farr Festival have revealed the lineup for the seventh edition of the woodland festival, taking place between 14-16 July 2016 in a deserted forest, just (40 mins) outside of London in Hertfordshire.
Ben UFO, Joy Orbison and Midland play a festival exclusive 6-hour back-to-back set, sure to open up your musical horizons, weaving electronic music in all shapes and forms; house, techno and bass.
Joining the musical dots between – soul, hip-hop, house, Afro, Latin, electronica, jazz and beyond, we welcome Gilles Peterson for his Farr debut. Move D and Hunee return to the woods bringing a myriad mosaic of sounds to the forest.
Paris based DJ and producer Jeremy Underground will be unearthing the hidden treasures of House music, whilst Hamburg’s finest Moomin will bring his soulful brand of deep house to the woods. Helena Hauff is also set to bring an assault of acid, Chicago, electro and wave.
Paranoid London’s show consisting of concise hardware jams, basslines and taut drum machine rhythms is sure to get your feet shuffling, whilst Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston bring their wealth of knowledge to the forest, presenting ‘A Love From Outer Space’ with a special 8-hour set. Terry Farley ventures deep into the archives of acid house, celebrating 30-years of his legendary imprint Boy’s Own Records.
Detroit Swindle head back to Farr, bringing with them Frits Wentink and Nachtbraker for the Heist Recordings stage. Other Farr debuts are handed to some of the most exciting names to grace dance music, including Max Cooper, ItaloJohnson, Funkineven, Maurice Fulton, Mike Dunn, Dorisburg, Olaf Stutt, Harri (Sub Club), Jane Fitz, Evan Baggs, Project Pablo, Francis Inferno Orchestra, Denis Sulta and London favourites Electric Minds.
