Following last weeks announcement of Farr Festival’s London warm-up party at Corsica Studios with Young Marco and Pender Street Steppas, the UK based boutique festival has unveiled how the 40 hours of music will unfold across its five stages within a deserted woodland in Hertfordshire between 16th – 18th July 2015.
This summer will see the Farr Forest at its most expansive. Three stages remain, but each one has been grown to ensure there will be no queues and all woodland dancing can be guaranteed, without restriction.
The Corsica Village will be hosted by Sessions, Tief and Trouble Vision across three nights, as will The Badger Hole, with Ransom Note & Society, Stamp The Wax and Phantasy. The Shack is kept equally busy across two nights with Just Jack, Waze & Odyssey, Street Tracks, Rubadub and Becca D looking after proceedings.
Outside of the woods, The Love Lounge returns for another year of steamy, cross-genre fornication, while 2015 also welcomes a new stage addition. This Must Be The Place pays homage to Trouw and the final song played at the Amsterdam’s late club and will be home to the NTS Radio takeover on Saturday. Stamp The Wax take charge on the Friday with a special guest announced on the day.
Whether you’re looking for a quick country getaway or an extended weekend stay, there are a host of boutique camping options to cater for your more luxurious needs. With Tangerine Fields, you can buy a range of tents and extras and they’ll have everything pitched, ready for your arrival. Meanwhile, Hearthworks will take care of all tipis and yurts, pre-erected and full furnished with rugs, cushions and beds. For more info, check the Camping section of the Farr website.
This year also sees a revamped Party Bus system, run directed by the Big Green Bus Company. They will pick up from Bristol, Swindon, Reading and London Victoria and take you straight to the festival site, and helping you avoid parking and taxi costs. Buses depart on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and all tickets can be found at the Farr ticket shop.
