Draped in the “eerie and intimate” ambience of the Château du Feÿ in Burgundy, France, the second edition of the eponymous Feÿ Festival will take place between 20 – 22 September 2019, gathering a mouthwatering line-up for the occasion.
Stepping up to submerge crowds in a state of aural ecstasy, US producer Brian Leeds, alias Huerco S. – label boss of West Mineral Ltd and a much dependable merchant of time and space-transcending experimental music – will take care of awakening your senses to new feels with a club focussed deejay set on the opening night. Fellow West Mineral Ltd family member uon will perform an ambient deejay set.
Taking over the decks for a special duty four-hour set on Saturday, Acting Press mastermind PLO Man will cast a further quirky, genre-busting spell on the dancefloor, while Aarhus leading underground figure Central (Regelbau, Help Recordings, No Hands…) will manoeuvre his way across techno and house.
On the live side of things, Feÿ will keep pushing for truly unique stage experiences. Maoupa Mazzocchetti and Mika Oki will bring their new collaborative performance to the festival, with other acts due to perform including former Syracuse member Antoine Kogut, Arne Vinzon, Itaca, Buvette, and Walls & Birds.
Daytime schedule will see selectors play at the bottom of 400-year old pyramid oaks. Danse-Toujours, Mykonos and Rahim from the hedonistic Parisian crew Bruits de la Passion will share the stage with Hadj Sameer, endurance digger of raï, afro and West Indies sounds, and Stella Zekri, who will come from Berlin for a long-haul set centred around old school hip-hop, disco, funk and house.
Château du Feÿ is located just 1 hour and 30 minutes from Paris via car. Train and bus routes are also available.
