Hyper-experimental Russian producer Flaty lines up his third album in July through his own imprint ANWO Records, presenting a ten-track long player swerving through freeform soundscapes and refracted beats.
Written and produced over the past year, ‘RAILZ‘ is “a product of solitary contemplative pursuit, an exploration of a metaspace where the varied worlds inherent to Flaty‘s artistic sensibility coexist, blend, and collide true to the original kinship between electro and hip-hop.”
Highlights from the album include the dub inclined riddims of “rotation—60“, ominous sonic tonalities of ‘november hords‘ and exploratory sound design of the title-track ‘railz‘. Upon its release, ‘RAILZ’ will be presented as the soundtrack to a forthcoming series of ANWO STUDIO collaborative audio-visual live performances.
