Florian Kupfer returns to L.I.E.S. with ‘Contact’ EP

The longed-for reunion is happening, the news finally landed today. After three releases in the space of two years for the US-born imprint – amongst which the seminal ‘Lifetrax‘ in 2013, Florian Kupfer will be returning to L.I.E.S. with a four-track EP, ‘Contact‘, due out in November 2017.

Ron Morelli’s label posted the much vibey title-track as a glimpse of the delight to come. A delicate piano-strewn house gem that summons visions of a tropical sunrise as washed-out memories glide in some sort of healing neo-classical inertia.

Adding further fuel to the newborn hype fire, L.I.E.S. also wanted to make sure that you know these cuts are “huge” and this record is “not to be missed“, whilst the press release soberly states that this is by far Florian’s “most diverse and mature release to date“. One week to go till the liberation.

Contact is released via L.I.E.S. on 7th November 2017, order a copy from Juno.
