We are delighted to announce our first ever Inverted Audio showcase at LAUT in Barcelona on Friday 31st August. For this special occasion our in-house vinyl slinger Antepop teams up with Jacktone Records co-founder and Room 4 Resistance resident Doc Sleep, plus support from French-born Barcelona-based DJ and industry insider Laura BCR, who manages the On Board Music record label and booking agency (read our interview and mix with Laura BCR).
Doc Sleep cut her teeth as a DJ in San Francisco’s vibrant scene before making the move to Berlin in 2016. Doc runs Jacktone Records alongside Darren Cutlip, who is currently based in Detroit. The label focuses on techno, ambient, leftfield and experimental electronics. Doc is also a resident at “Room 4 Resistance” hosted at ://about blank, a queer femme / non-binary forward collective focused on community and creating safer spaces and visibility for underrepresented artists in music.
LAUT is an avant-garde culture space in the heart of Barcelona’s bohemian district, located close to Avenue del Paral·lel. You will find a space of two hundred and forty-five square meters designed for an intimate audience equipped with a high-quality sound system.
Ahead of the club night, we’ll host an in-store at Discos Paradiso from 6-9pm. Doc Sleep and Antepop will play alongside local DJ Bobby Garcia and producer RNXRX. For further information click HERE.
