Jabes crafts a compendious mix for Newtype Rhythms

Newtype Rhythms starts off the month of February with an extensive mix from London-via-Leeds talent Jabes – a two-plus-hour journey of a mix that flexes the producer’s unique influences and tastes; a traversing high-wire of eclecticism that permeates just as brightly within releases on their very own Klunk imprint.

In the case of this episode of our sister mix series, there’s a bountiful experience waiting to be heard that really opens up both body and mind to parts unknown – and while that’s a mysterious thread to tug on, it’s also quite welcome.

Jabes is a burgeoning voice within the electronic underground, but with this mix providing so much sonic range – hearing what comes next down the pipeline for him will be something surely to behold immediately. Check out Jabe’s mix at 45 minutes in, with resident Sheepshead warming things up per usual.
