Kankyō Records release cassette & incense compilation ‘Vaporize’ feat. Atoris, Foodman, Sugai Ken

A new compilation from Tokyo-based Kankyō Records has been issued, featuring track contributions from Atoris (H.Takahashi, Yudai Osawa & Kohei Oyamada), Foodman, Hakobune, and Sugai Ken.

The music is “based on the concept of a listening experience in the sauna”, calming, pillow-y ambient music designed to elicit moments of deep relaxation. If that’s not enough to get you in that sauna state of mind, the release comes with its own 10 ml incense oil showcasing the “calming scent of wood, floral flowers, and refreshing citrus”.

Kankyō Records is a record shop and imprint based in the Sangenjaya district of Setagaya, Tokyo. In addition to records and tapes, the shop specialises in audio equipment and furniture to facilitate a “listening experience in a better environment”.

‘Vaporize’ is scheduled for release on the 17th August via Kankyō Records. Order the physical compilation here and digital from Bandcamp.
