On Saturday 30 May, Inverted Audio broadcast live and direct from Fiese Remise in Berlin via Twitch with deejay sets from Flørist, DJ Fart In The Club and DJ Heartbreak as part of our effort to help raise funds for their crowdfunding campaign to save Fiese Remise and Diskothek Melancholie 2 from closure.
Easing us into the evening is our very own Berlin-based ambassador DJ Heartbreak. Get the tissues out as there may be more than a few tears falling onto your keyboard as DJ Heartbreak offers up experimental, skuzzed out party vibes.
One of the original exporters of the ethereal deep house emanating from the so-called Canadian Riviera, Vancouver-native Flørist has lately been exploring wider sonic palettes on The Trilogy Tapes. A relocation to Berlin has given his signature sound an added deepness. Expect everything from swinging UKG to cavernous dub rattling your home brew as you wiggle in front of your screen.
Seoul-born, Berlin-based rising star has been DJing and farting in clubs across Germany and beyond over the past few years and we are delighted to bring her gaseous delights to your living room. As one of the co-hosts of Berlin’s riotous Imaginary Friends party, DJ Fart In The Club has hosted the likes of D. Tiffany and Jensen Interceptor and has a record bag packed full of everything from slamming electro to polyrhythmic club jams. Prepare for a flatulent release of a diverse range of contemporary dance floor slammers.
