Love Saves The Day: Little Dragon, Call Super, Hunee, Palms Trax head to Bristol

Today Love Saves The Day reveal their lineup for the sixth edition of the festival taking place Saturday 27th – Sunday 28th May 2017 in Eastville Park, Bristol.

Saturday’s bill includes a headline set from Swedish electronic band Little Dragon. Fatima Yamaha, Crazy P, Bicep, Andrew Weatherall, Job Jobse and Call Super also join the slate. Bristol-based record label Futureboogie will host a stage of their own, helmed by none other than Rush Hour lynchpin Hunee, Move D, DJ Nature and Palms Trax.

Sunday is headlined by Fat Freddy’s Drop, a band whose eclectic blend of dub, reggae, techno and jazz is sure to bring the vibes to Brizzle city. Shy FX will play the main stage while Crack Magazine will showcase grime sensation Novelist and Hyperdub affiliated producer Jessy Lanza.

After recently linking up for their second album on On-U Sound, Sherwood & Pinch will head up the Brouhaha stage hosted by Hold Tight; Egoless join forces with Killa P, and Vivek & Dego also team up for the occasion. Elsewhere over at the Dance Off x Cult area, London-based garage sound system Heartless Crew will entertain the crowds along with drum & bass legend DJ Zinc and dubstep DJ/producer Rusko.

For the second year running, Love Saves the Day will also feature the only appearance of the Arcadia Afterburner in the UK this year. The original Arcadia installation, the Afterburner is a 360-degree stage built around a central flaming spire with dance platforms radiating out to a ring of exploding lamp posts.
