Mike Paradinas resurfaces as µ-Ziq, announces ‘Goodbye’ EP

Planet Mu label founder and all round experimental legend Mike Paradinas returns as µ-Ziq in May with the first in a new series of works centred on the 25th Anniversary Edition of ‘Lunatic Harness’, his classic album released in 1997.

Spanning four tracks and two reworks, ‘Goodbye‘ sees µ-Ziq (pronounced ‘music’) hark back to the sweet sounds of the 90’s, revisiting hybrid strains of braindance focussed electronica, jungle, IDM – “upgrading them with the benefit of hindsight and contemporary software.” – Highlights include the title track and the three different versions of ‘Rave Whistle‘.

Taking place on 28 May at IKLECTIK in London, µ-Ziq launches his new album ‘Magic Pony Ride’ with support from Ital Tek (live) and Meemo Comma (live). One for the heads. Full details can be found here.

‘Goodbye’ is scheduled for release 1 April via Planet Mu. Order a copy from Bandcamp
