Back from a last outing on Crème with his label pal Luca Lozano, Klasse Recordings co-founder Mister Ho teams up with Discus Throwers and Neubau honcho Heap on ‘Collision Resistance / Veils Of The Beloved’, their debut collaborative 12″ for Lovefingers’ ESP Institute.
The EP, scheduled for release on both vinyl and digital formats on April 1st, is no joke. Hong Kong’s Mr. Ho who has been honing his DJ and producer skills for over half a decade now joins forces with Viennese selector Florian Stöffelbauer for a pair of damp and rousing cuts exuding arcane groove science and polyamorous floor nerve in hypnotic synergy.
On side A, ‘Collision Resistance‘ beats the sexy pulse of pounding kicks, slashing hats and gritty snares flashing in the dim-light of a basement dungeon all upholstered with padded-leather and dubious stains.
On the flip, ‘Veils Of The Beloved‘ clears up that filthy mist with a redeeming elixir of dynamic basslines, high-reaching pads and breezy xylophone melody.
