Following the success of their sold out event with Scan 7 in May – Natural Selection return to FOLD on Saturday 10 August assembling a potent 16-hour lineup featuring Regis, DJ Skull, Kamikaze Space Programme, DJ T-1000, Versalife and Morphology.
Headlining the event is Regis. Co-founder of the now legendary imprint Downwards, responsible for unleashing records from the likes of Samuel Kerridge, British Murder Boys (Surgeon and Karl O’Connor) and many more. Expect Vantablack levels of techno and more.
Next up is DJ Skull – commanding a thunderous sound that reinterprets the musical tropes of his Chi-Wax releases, Djax bombs, and funk semantics heard elsewhere. DJ Skull brings his deep-rooted musical knowledge to FOLD for a truly enthralling deejay set.
Having just released his album ‘Dead Skin Cells‘ on Osiris Music, which we premiered the music video for last month – it’s a joy to see Kamikaze Space Programme (aka Raiden) be part of this special occasion. Expect razor sharp techno, breakbeat with hints of drum and bass thrown in for good measure.
Rotterdam producer Versalife (aka Conforce) makes a rare live appearance, bringing his deft blend of atmospheric techno and ambient-infused electro to FOLD. Closing out the lineup is Detroit-born via Berlin-based Alan D. Oldham – musician, label owner, remixer, graphic illustrator, and international DJ, Oldham-under his stage name DJ T-1000 – does it all.
Support on the night arrives courtesy of Natural Selection residents Annie Hall, Cressida, Funk Ethics, Kodah, Patrick Swift plus a back-to-back set between Gareth Wild and FOLD co-founder Voicedrone.
