Following two albums in 2023, Tokyo-based producer Zefan Sramek kicks off 2024 with ‘Live At BushBash II‘, his latest full length as Precipitation. The cassette, released via Los Angeles imprint Jungle Gym, combines ethereal ambient keys with hypnotic house rhythms.
‘Live At BushBash II‘ is a sequel to the first edition, released at the end of 2022 and recorded at the same Tokyo venue Bush Bash. The March 2023 show featured Jungle Gym alums René Najera and Mateis e. Aqir, as well as local artists DJ Emerald, Aquarium, and Yamaan.
Sramek’s set builds on the cloudy acid house aesthetic explored on his recent output, including 2022’s excellent ‘Glass Horizons’. Precipitation presents a hypnotic, intoxicating sound that’s ideal for late nights and early mornings of solitude, contemplation, and meditation.
