Succeeding ‘Ode To Stone’ from Ingri Høyland in November 2023, Copenhagen-based imprint Rhizome return with a 13-track album from Danish experimental singer and producer Aria Leth Schütze, also known as Alto Aria.
Following releases on local imprints Miserere Mei, Rhizome and a collaboration with Danish producer Croatian Amor, ‘Limerence‘ depicts one-way love affairs through sorrowful layers of ambient, broken-hearted alt-pop and altered state electronica.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Bend Towards The Sun‘ – a humming ascension to eternal light. A collection of raindrop recordings, murmur cuddles, bolstered kick-drums, and stretched-out violins embrace blissful loneliness.
