Seven years after their inaugural release, Dutch imprint Rotterdam Electronix prepare to release the four-track ‘In The Cemetery Saga‘ EP – courtesy of Romanian techno veteran Andrew Red Hand.
After previous appearances on Lobster Theremin’s offshoot 1Ø PILLS MATE, Twilight 76, Detroit-based imprint Matrix and Aroy Dee’s M>O>S Recordings, ‘In The Cemetery Saga‘ delivers four tracks of hyperboreal electro infused with EBM gardens of remembrance and bludgeoning techno grooves.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘False Alarm‘ – a bona fide Detroit-style electro fueled by unshackled clusters of dead bones. The high-spirited soundscapes, spellbinding breakbeats, warped typhoons of basslines, and tipped-off alarm bells make the soundtrack a dreadful reminder to sacrifice beauty sleep for twilight raves.
