Presenting their first-ever compilation, Vancouver-based imprint Weirdos Inc. enlist fourteen producers to contribute to the mind-bending sound of contemporary psychedelia on their forthcoming various artist compilation ‘Delusions VA.‘.
Consisting of 14 tracks, the compilation gathers worldwide heat, which features the likes of label’s affiliate dj_2button, Blank Mind’s DJ ojo, Balouu, Bristol’s visionary Deep Nalström and mental dowser pioneer Celestium among others. ‘Delusions VA.‘ spans krauty digital mantras, herbalist downtempo, jagged trance and insightful leftfield.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Eye’ by Celestium – based on its highly reverberating arpeggios, spell-binding flutes, neo-Goa earthquakes fused with pounding rhythms and tribal call to arms. Originally crafted for raves in Glastonbury in 1997, Weirdos Inc. has given a second life to this piping-hot classic.
