Freshly-launched off their eponymous crew of promoters, French label Renascence present a solid debut outing courtesy of emerging dusty house and techno producer CoastDream. The aptly-titled ‘Sunny Breeze‘ EP is scheduled for release mid April.
Rolling out a pack of infectious floor-breakers, the Brazilian beatsmith dishes out four original mixes of pure lo-fi essence, all drowned in tape-saturated layers and propelled by hissy hat rides with a touch of Andean panpipes and addictive piano stabs for good measure.
Rocking the flip, Annanan gets in on remix duty with a grimy revamp of the anthemic ‘ABC Theme‘, which we’re glad to bring you in full-stream today.
Boiling over like a volcano spitting distorted synth slivers that dissolve in a loose shuffle of washed-out pads and giddy spinning dynamics, the track’s build up is tense and mind-bending as we like. Hot stuff!
