Known for his ever on-point and tastefully varied palette of DJ and remixing skills, as glimpsed in his hot-off-the-fire, much palatable IA mix, LA-based groove slinger Cooper Saver sees the planets align and his release schedule fill up in 2019.
With only a couple original contributions and edits but a solid inventory of reworks for the likes of DFA, Let’s Play House and Young Adults under his belt, the US vibist steps on the gas and prepares for a much busy summer season with fresh new material coming up on Prins Thomas’ Internasjonal, Hivern Discs, Lovefinger’s ESP Institute and Permanent Vacation, off which we’re sharing a first extract today.
Lifted from his eponymous 12″ for the Munich imprint due out on April 19th, the title-track ‘Coastal Breeze‘ immerses us in warm and soothing seascapes. Melding the sun-streaked vibrations of a sturdy but lithesome Italo bass a la Moroder with woozy kosmische flights and a pinch of widescreen electronica, this one has the power to brighten up to the bleariest day. One to dance and dream to, all you’ve got to do is let its infectious synths beam you up to Saver’s distant Eden. Beauty.
