Returning after a short hiatus, E-Missions are set to drop their first release of the year. Founded in NYC in 2017, the imprint is now run from Berlin with label alum Marco Gomez aka False Witness at the helm.
Stepping up to the plate is fellow label graduate and Solemne Records boss cyd. Compared to the foreboding atmospherics of 2018’s ‘Disassemble Yourself’, the Polish producer’s latest EP is a much more straightforward dancefloor record.
The three original tracks on ‘Only Once’ are accompanied by a remix from Warsaw-based producers Private Press. Our pick is the duo’s take on the release’s title track, a reverb-soaked slice of peak-time techno with a hearty dose of funk.
