Following notable releases from Finnish multi-instrumentalist Jimi Tenor, Kito Jempere, Italian ambient superstar Gigi Masin and Max Essa among others, modern disco label Hell Yeah prepare to release the six-track ‘Every Dog’s Hotel‘ LP – courtesy of Melbourne-based smooth operator Nick Verwey, better known as Dawn Again.
After numerous appearances on Frankfurt-based imprint Houseworx, Wonder Stories and Porn Wax, ‘Every Dog’s Hotel‘ delves into pacific states of mind emitted by earthborn echoes. It feels like a soft breeze of Dawn Again as you move through serene streams of deep house, balearic ballads and uncanny downtempo peaks.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Every Dog’s Hotel‘ – a heartfelt lullaby for pilgrims strolling through trackless wonderlands. Objecting to gravity, Dawn Again sculpts an exquisite downtempo jam featuring zephyr-esque drum grooves, dreamy synths and slithering acid basslines.
