Premiere: Juliano – Percussion Discovery

Nearly two years since his previous release, French producer Juliano is back with a 12″ on Don Williams’ much lauded Mojuba imprint for the release of ‘Chanmé‘ – two spacey, slow burning psychedelic Detroit techno jams.

For this release the Berlin-based producer joins forces with Alan Mathias aka Arcarsenal, who programmed the drums for each track. If you’re familiar with the output of Juliano and his imprint ‘That Place’, then you already know the drill – warm analogue, organic textures, and trippy synthlines bringing together a listening experience for the club environment in full effect.

Our pick “Percussion Discovery” is a cut of smokey drum percussion, undulating chords and dribbles of bass that aligns the track with that deep sound that resonates strongly with Detroit.

‘Chanmé’ is out now via Mojuba, order a copy from Hardwax.
