Premiere: Long Island Sound- Fracture

Now on the cusp of its twenty-second release, Istanbul-based imprint Oath prepare to release the six-track ‘Fracture‘ EP – courtesy of Dublin-based duo Rob Roche and Tim Nolan, better known as Long Island Sound.

After several releases on Bobby Analog’s Body Fusion, Kyoku and their label-owned Signs Of Space, Long Island Sound lines up six original cuts, rounded off with two remixes – courtesy of 3024’s affiliate Otik and Spray. The six tracks of ‘Fracture‘ weave an enchanting labyrinth of mind-warping breaks, freaky eurodance frequencies, trance extravaganza and techno phantom.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Fracture‘ – a highly experimental set of hieroglyphic breaks encapsulating an altered reality of organized confusion. If Long Island Sound doesn’t ring a bell yet, its perky kickdrums, obscure synth pads, and sci-fi frequencies are soon to change that.

‘Fracture’ is scheduled for release on 25 February via Oath. Order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
