Following an EP of tough rave tracks from crouds, Munich’s Molten Moods are back with their final release of 2021. Their next effort displays a similar preoccupation with contemporary dancefloor rhythms and comes from LUCKER, a relatively new face on the scene.
The Berlin-based producer first caught the attention of the label when he appeared on трип last year. Lucker’s contribution to the ‘Hot Steel’ compilation was a blistering high tempo assault that threatened to tear through the speakers.
With percussive slammers, deranged IDM and even breakcore, the producer’s first full-length release is certainly an accomplished and diverse body of work. Our pick is ‘Cloud Sniff’, a rolling breakbeat number with whimsical melodic flourishes and plenty of low-end pressure.
